Pickett to Host Human Trafficking Seminar

On Thursday, June 4, I will be hosting a human trafficking seminar from 6-8 p.m. at the Sons and Daughters of Italy, 301 Desmond St., Sayre.

Our guest speakers will be Bradford County District Attorney Richard Wilson, Wyoming County District Attorney Joe Peters and Lantern Rescue President and founder Korrin Moon.

Human trafficking is one of the fastest-growing crimes in the nation, and children are frequently being victimized right in their own homes, often via the internet.

Parents, grandparents and concerned citizens will learn how to protect children from human trafficking in a digital world.
